Project Management
When people want to indicate that something is extremely difficult to accomplish, they often liken it to “herding cats.” A great project manager, however, excels at “herding cats” in a professional environment. When they do a great job, everyone else does their job better as well.
The Project Management program in the School of Information Technology at ITT Technical Institute teaches knowledge areas and processes designated by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a leading membership association for the project management profession. Students are introduced to skills and techniques that can be used to initiate, plan, organize, staff, guide, monitor and control a project. This program involves the study of the theory and techniques that can be used by a project manager to practice in a digital global environment.
A wide variety of businesses, government agencies and other organizations use people with this critical skill set to help participate in and lead the management of projects.
