Striving to Fulfill Promises to Those who Served
HENDERSON, Nev. (October 10, 2014) - Representatives of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) visited the ITT Technical Institute in Henderson on October 10, 2014 to answer questions about military benefits. The representatives, David Hill and Joshua Rondini, both U.S. Army veterans, addressed various concerns, including disability claims and educational assistance.
Hill and Rondini stated anyone can join DAV with a lifetime membership after making a small donation. Members have access to a variety of programs, services and products and receive a free subscription to the DAV magazine.
DAV, chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932, is an advocacy organization that provides free, professional services to help veterans lead high-quality lives. Services include furnishing outreach programs and representing the interests of disabled veterans and their families before the U.S. Congress, the White House, state and federal courts, and state legislatures.
