U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins Delivers Commencement Speech for ITT Technical Institute Graduates

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (September 9, 2015) - U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins will deliver the commencement speech for ITT Technical Institute's graduates on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m.

The afternoon event, scheduled at the ARTS Renaissance Center, 900 Eighth St., will include graduates and their families from the June and September quarters.

Rep. Jenkins is a native of Huntington and served three terms in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1995 to 2001 before being elected to the West Virginia Senate, where he also served three terms. During his term as a state legislator, Jenkins championed children's issues, public safety and fiscal responsibility.

He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives last year and remains active in local community service, including the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Tri-State Area.
