Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q:   How many campuses do you have?

A:   We have over 130 campuses in 38 states. ITT Tech's headquarters is located in Carmel, IN.

  • Q:   What are the basic requirements for enrollment?

A:   Enrollment at ITT Tech requires a high school diploma or recognized equivalent, and be at least 16 years of age. Refer to the Admission section of the school catalog for additional information.

  • Q:   What are the typical costs for attending ITT Tech?

A:   Our tuition rates range between $426 and $529 per credit hour. Our typical full-time student takes between 12-13.5 credit hours per quarter. In addition to tuition, most students are charged an administrative and academic fee and may be required to purchase tools specific to their program of study. Use our Net Price Calculator to help determine your costs.

  • Q:   Will my tuition increase while I'm enrolled at ITT Tech?

A:   No! All new students have their tuition rate guaranteed not to increase as long as they remain continuously enrolled.

  • Q:   Is financial aid assistance available?

A:   Yes! We granted over $260 million in scholarships in 2014. In addition, students enrolled since December 2014 qualify for our tuition rate freeze. A Financial Aid Coordinator will meet with and help prospective students through the steps of the financial aid process. This helps our students understand the types of financial aid (loans, grants, scholarships and other financial aid for which they may qualify) that are available to help pay the cost of their education.

  • Q:   I have some credits from another college — will they transfer?

A:   Credit transfers vary from school to school. The ITT Tech Registrar will be able to discuss your specific credits and verify if they will transfer.

  • Q:   If I need to switch to another school, will my ITT credits transfer?

A:   The decision concerning the acceptance of credits earned in any course taken at the school is made at the discretion of the receiving institution. It is unlikely that any credits earned at the school will be transferable to or accepted by any institution other than an ITT Technical Institute. More information on the transferability of credits can be found in our catalog.

  • Q:   I'm not a U.S. citizen. Can I take classes at ITT Tech?

A:   ITT Tech has two campuses where non-U.S. citizens may enroll: Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Miami, FL, they may be able to take our online classes. Our Foreign Student page has qualification and admission information.

  • Q:   I work full time — what kind of class schedules do you offer?

A:   Many ITT Tech students are employed full time, so you're not alone! That's why we offer our classes at a variety of times — both day and evening — as well as online. While not all classes are offered at all times, we structure our class offerings with our working students in mind in order to help them earn the degree they desire.

  • Q:   Do you offer housing?

A:   We do not offer housing on our campuses. If you are new to the area, we can offer suggestions to get you started.

  • Q:   What types of degrees do you offer?

A:   ITT Tech offers associate, bachelor and master's degrees. While not all degree types are offered in each area of study, or at each location, you can see which degree offerings are available by selecting the campus of your choice.
