Carmel, Ind. (August 6, 2014) - Ryan L. Roney has been named the executive vice president, chief administrative and legal officer and secretary, of ITT Educational Services, Inc. (NYSE: ESI).
Prior to assuming his role with ITT/ESI, Roney served as chief legal officer, executive vice president of business development and corporate secretary of Vistage International Inc., a chief executive membership organization, from December 2012 to July 2014.
Before his position at Vistage, he served as the chief ethics and compliance officer of Powerwave Technologies Inc., a global supplier of end-to-end wireless solutions for wireless communications networks.
He also served in various roles with Smiths Group, PLC, including general counsel of Smiths Detection, a provider of regulated technology products and advanced services.
Roney is a senior advisor to the National Warrior Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping United States veterans returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars successfully transition back to a productive life.
He is a graduate of Pepperdine School of Law and the University of Michigan.
