Proof of High School Graduation

1. Secondary Education Credentials
A foreign student must submit an official transcript or certified copy of the primary credentials used in the student's country to demonstrate that he or she has completed high school or secondary school. A member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services ("NACES") or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. ("AICE") must (a) translate the transcript/credential into English, if the transcript/credential is not printed in English, and (b) evaluate the transcript/credential for U.S. high school graduation equivalency. All foreign credentials must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE member organization regardless of whether they are printed in English.

A foreign student may still apply, even if the student has not yet completed the last year of high school or secondary school. In this case, the foreign student must submit an official transcript and certified letter, in English, from the student's school stating the student's expected date of completion. The foreign student's name and date of birth must be included. Upon completion of high school or secondary school, the foreign student must provide ITT Technical Institute with a final official transcript or certified copy of the secondary school along with the NACES or AICE member organization's (a) translation of the transcript/credential into English, if the transcript/credential is not printed in English, and (b) evaluation of the transcript/credential for U.S. high school graduation equivalency.

2. Postsecondary Transcripts
Depending on the program of study, the foreign student may be required to submit an official transcript to show higher education coursework, along with a NACES or AICE member organization's (a) translation of the transcript into English, if the transcript is not printed in English, and (b) evaluation of the credentials earned and coursework completed, to qualify for admission or to satisfy course prerequisites. Transfer credit cannot be granted until an official transcript along with the NACES or AICE translation (if not in English) and evaluation is received. All foreign credentials must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE member organization whether or not they are printed in English.

SUBMISSION OF FOREIGN CREDENTIALS WITHOUT THE NACES OR AICE EVALUATION WILL DELAY A FOREIGN STUDENT'S APPLICATION.
