Admission Requirements & Procedures for Graduate Program

If a student’s admission into a graduate program of study at the school is rejected by the school, the school will promptly notify the student.

Regular Admission

A student may be admitted into the Project Management program if he or she has:

(1) at least a baccalaureate degree with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 grading scale), awarded by an educational institution located in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or an educational institution located outside the U.S. that is accredited or similarly acknowledged by an agency deemed acceptable in the school’s discretion;

(2) provided an official transcript from the educational institution awarding the degree;

(3) a minimum three years full-time work experience in organizational systems, management practices or project development;

(4) access to an organizational environment in which projects are completed, as determined in the school’s discretion; and

(5) paid an Admission Processing Fee.

Special Admission

Any student who does not satisfy the required minimum cumulative grade point average required in the Regular Admission section for admission to the Project Management program, but whose cumulative grade point average was at least 2.0, may petition for special admission to the Project Management program. The Graduate Admission Committee will review the applying student’s petition and may require additional information, including without limitation, a personal interview and letters of recommendation. Upon receipt of all requested information and review of the petition, the Graduate Admission Committee will determine, in its discretion, whether to specially admit the applying student. Any specially admitted student must satisfy specific requirements imposed by the Graduate Admission Committee within the time period prescribed by this committee. Any failure by a specially admitted student to satisfy, to the satisfaction of the Graduate Admission Committee, any of the specific requirements imposed within the time period prescribed by this committee will result in the student’s termination from the program.
