Admission Requirements & Procedures for Undergraduate Programs


 
Associate Degree Programs

A student may be admitted into an associate degree program of study offered by the school upon satisfying all of the following requirements:

(a) The student exceeds the age of compulsory school attendance.

(b) The student possesses a high school diploma or a recognized equivalency certificate. (The student must provide documented proof (to the satisfaction of the school) of his or her high school diploma or recognized equivalency certificate before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.)

(c) The student pays the school the Admission Processing Fee, unless the student is a graduate of an ITT Technical Institute program of study.

(d) For a student seeking admission to the Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology or Computer Drafting and Design programs of study, the student must:

(i) score a minimum of 17 on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam taken at the school; or

(ii) have scored, within the immediate preceding three years, a minimum of:

(1) 17 on the ACT; or

(2) 400 each on both the verbal and math portions of the SAT.

(e) For a student seeking admission to the Information Technology programs of study, the student must:

(i) score a minimum of 22 on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam taken at the school; or

(ii) have scored, within the immediate preceding three years, a minimum of:

(1) 17 on the ACT; or

(2) 400 each on both the verbal and math portions of the SAT.

(f) The student passes (as determined by the school in its discretion) an individual interview with the Registrar, if the Registrar requests an interview with the student.
 
Upon the student’s satisfaction of all of the above requirements, the school will promptly notify the student that he or she is admitted into an associate degree program of study at the school.

Bachelor Degree Programs

1.  Automated Manufacturing Technology - A student may be admitted into the bachelor degree program in Automated Manufacturing Technology upon satisfying all of the following requirements:

(a) The student exceeds the age of compulsory school attendance.

(b) The student possesses a high school diploma or a recognized equivalency certificate. (The student must provide documented proof (to the satisfaction of the school) of his or her high school diploma or recognized equivalency certificate before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.)

(c) The student has either:

(i) graduated from the associate degree program in electronics engineering technology at the school with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0; or

(ii) passed courses that are equivalent (as determined by the school in its discretion) of each and every course in the associate degree program in electronics engineering technology offered by the school and obtained an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 grading scale) in all such courses. The student must have taken and passed each of these courses at a postsecondary educational institution located (I) in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or (II) outside the U.S. that is accredited or similarly acknowledged by an agency deemed acceptable to the school in its discretion.

(d) The student provides the school with an official transcript from each educational institution awarding any course credits that the student desires to transfer to satisfy the requirements in (c) (ii) above.

(e) The student pays the school the Admission Processing Fee, unless the student is a graduate of an ITT Technical Institute program of study.

(f) The student passes (as determined by the school in its discretion) an individual interview with the Registrar, if the Registrar requests an interview with the student.
 
2. Computer Visualization Technology - A student may be admitted into the bachelor degree program in Computer Visualization Technology upon satisfying all of the following requirements:

(a) The student exceeds the age of compulsory school attendance.

(b) The student possesses a high school diploma or a recognized equivalency certificate. (The student must provide documented proof (to the satisfaction of the school) of his or her high school diploma or recognized equivalency certificate before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.)

(c) The student has either:

(i) graduated from the associate degree program in computer-aided drafting technology or architectural engineering technology at the school with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0; or

(ii) passed courses that are equivalent (as determined by the school in its discretion) of each and every course in the associate degree program in computer-aided drafting technology or architectural engineering technology that was offered by the school in 2001 and obtained an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 grading scale) in all such courses. The student must have taken and passed each of these courses at a postsecondary educational institution located (I) in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or

(II) outside the U.S. that is accredited or similarly acknowledged by an agency deemed acceptable to the school in its discretion.

(d) The student provides the school with an official transcript from each educational institution awarding any course credits that the student desires to transfer to satisfy the requirements in (c) (ii) above.

(e) The student pays the school the Admission Processing Fee, unless the student is a graduate of an ITT Technical Institute program of study.
(f) The student passes (as determined by the school in its discretion) an individual interview with the Registrar, if the Registrar requests an interview with the student.
 
3. Electronics Engineering Technology
- A student may be admitted into the bachelor degree program in Electronics Engineering Technology upon satisfying all of the following requirements:

(a) The student exceeds the age of compulsory school attendance.

(b) The student possesses a high school diploma or a recognized equivalency certificate. (The student must provide documented proof (to the satisfaction of the school) of his or her high school diploma or recognized equivalency certificate before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.)

(c) The student has either:

(i) graduated from the associate degree program in electronics engineering technology at the school with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0; or

(ii) passed courses that are equivalent (as determined by the school in its discretion) of each and every course in the associate degree program in electronics engineering technology offered by the school and obtained an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 grading scale) in all such courses. The student must have taken and passed each of these courses at a postsecondary educational institution located (I) in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or (II) outside the U.S. that is accredited or similarly acknowledged by an agency deemed acceptable to the school in its discretion.

(d) The student provides the school with an official transcript from each educational institution awarding any course credits that the student desires to transfer to satisfy the requirements in (c) (ii) above.

(e) The student pays the school the Admission Processing Fee, unless the student is a graduate of an ITT Technical Institute program of study.

(f) The student passes (as determined by the school in its discretion) an individual interview with the Registrar, if the Registrar requests an interview with the student.
 
4. Technical Project Management for Electronic Commerce
- A student may be admitted into a bachelor degree program in Technical Project Management for Electronic Commerce upon satisfying all of the following requirements:
(a) The student exceeds the age of compulsory school attendance.
(b) The student possesses a high school diploma or a recognized equivalency certificate. (The student must provide documented proof (to the satisfaction of the school) of his or her high school diploma or recognized equivalency certificate before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.)
(c) The student possesses at least 84 quarter credit hours of credit for college-level courses taken by the student (30 of which must be in additional core courses, and 24 of which must be in additional courses in humanities, composition, mathematics and the sciences and social sciences), and has obtained an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale in all such courses. The student must have taken and passed each of these courses at a postsecondary educational institution located (I) in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or (II) outside the U.S. that is accredited or similarly acknowledged by an agency deemed acceptable to the school in its discretion. (The student must provide the school with an official transcript from each educational institution awarding any course credits that the student desires to transfer to satisfy the credit hour requirements before the end of the student’s first quarter of attendance in undergraduate programs at the school, or the student will be terminated from his or her program of study.
(d) The student pays the school the Admission Processing Fee, unless the student is a graduate of an ITT Technical Institute program of study.
(e) The student passes (as determined by the school in its discretion) an individual interview with the Registrar, if the Registrar requests an interview with the student.
 
Upon the student’s satisfaction of all of the above requirements, the school will promptly notify the student that he or she is admitted into a bachelor degree program of study at the school.
