Prospective students who are interested in pursuing a program of study at a construction school may be interested in the study of the project management and technological aspects of residential and commercial construction projects. A construction school may offer instruction involving quality, safety, time, cost and labor management as it pertains to a construction project.
A construction manager may coordinate and oversee the work on a construction site, serving as a liaison between architects, inspectors, clients, builders and trades people. Construction managers, using their project management skills and understanding of the construction process, may also be responsible for helping to control the time, cost of materials and labor spent on, and the quality of, the project.
